* each cabin has a woodstove for heat (wood is supplied), propane cookstove and icebox (bring ice!)
* coffee percolator, cooking pots/ pans and cutlery, plates cups etc...
* mattress and sheet provided
* bring your own sleeping bag / blankets and pillows, lantern, camping gear and gizmos, bear spray ...etc.
* all prices add 5% GST

Cabin #4
This is a spacious, newly renovated cabin with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bunk bed. There is also a futon.
* $80.00/ night (based on 4 persons) * $5 for each additional person, per night
* $60.00 per couple or 2 persons (midweek only, monday-thursday night)

Cabin #5     Popular for many years
*   still $60.00/night (based on triple occupancy) * $5 for each additional person, per night
*   has 2 double bunk beds and 1 futon
*   propane cookstove with a small RV oven and built- in icebox

Longhouse: Our best and most popular cabin year round...!
$150.00 per night (6 to 8 persons) 3 bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with 3 single beds)
For smaller groups we offer the following midweek rates for the Longhouse (Monday to Thursday night)
* $80.00/night per couple/ two persons ( midweek only, weekend rate for two is $120.00/night)
* $120.00 ( midweek) for 2 couples/4 persons / weekend rate $150.00
* $15 for each additional person, per night *
* Children 12 years and under are free
* Also has 2 double futons which fold down for sleeping
* Full kitchen, gas range with full size oven, flush toilet, running hot water, indoor shower !
* Includes all cooking and eating utensils
* The Longhouse is wired for generator power (lights and 1 outlet) $10.00 rental fee or bring our own.

Pets Policy: We have three camp dogs; a Lab Retriever male, a female shepherd X and a female Wolf Hybrid. This is their home. Our experience has shown that most pets have been well socialized. We welcome friendly pets. Owners are responsible for monitoring their pet's activities and cleaning up after them at all times. We encourage pet owners to use the lakeside dogwalks at each end of the camp. Fixed pets are preferred. Vicious breed dogs are best left at home..

We reserve he right to refuse access to animals and owners deemed to be vicious, uncontrolled or a nuisance.

* No Pit bulls or pitbull cross dogs

* Horse boarding $5 per night per horse. We have a 60x60 ft. enclosed corral with 6 paddocks and water.

Firewood: There are costs associated to locate, buck, transport and stack wood for stoves and campfires.
* $10.00 per cart load from our supply or Bring Your Own for "free..."

Road Access: The Keefer Lake Main Forest Service Road is maintained year round through a road allowance contract from the Ministry of Forests awarded to KYRO Contracting of Lumby, B.C. and at the expense of Keefer Lake Wilderness Resort. Four wheel drive is recommended from October to June. Motorists are advised to USE CAUTION at all times.

Watch for snowplowing, logging activities, wildlife, sasquatch, escaped cattle, snowmobiles and/or ATVs riding on the road... ATV's must be properly licensed and insured when operating on the Keefer Lake and Holmes Lake Forest Service Road.

It is ILLEGAL and dangerous to operate a snowmobile on a Forest Service Road that has been plowed and is otherwise usable by motor vehicles.

Be prepared... The nearest help may be 15km or more away. This is Grizzly country!! It would be advisable to call ahead in winter. Carry chains and Brains... Please camp here safely and responsibly. Excessive alcohol consumption has been a contributing factor in the majority of mishaps, injuries and misunderstandings. All guests at Keefer Lake Wilderness Resort are held responsible for their actions while on the camp's private property.

Emergency services may be 2 or more hours away any time of year!!!
Our rates are kept the same year round. They are reflective of the remote location of Keefer lake Wilderness Resort.
** This is a remote experience. Persons not used to lengthy moments of complete silence may experience disorientation.**

There is a condition commonly referred to as "bush fever" or being "bushed". One of the first signs we look for is habitual grasping for cellular phones or other electronic control devices. If you or a member of your party exhibits this symptom or uncharacteristic behaviours such as a desire to sit for hours in a boat, take walks, yodel, smell things repeatedly, enjoy scenery without saying a word etc. remember to stay calm, take a few deep breaths of pure fresh air and think to yourself... It's better than being "citied"...

PS: There is no cellphone service here and we like it that way!!!
